Dark-eyed Junco photos, South Burlington, VT

South Burlington photos

Welcome to the SB Vermont Backyard Birding, Issue # 8, Dark-eyed Junco.

The Eastern Slate-colored Dark-eyed Junco male in our South Burlington, Vermont backyard, is dark gray to black and the female is brownish gray (to my eye). The white belly is an outstanding feature offset particularly on the male. Welcome to the series, SB Vermont Backyard Birding, Issue #8, Eastern Slate-colored Dark-eyed Junco.
